This is a classic breakfast and is loved by all around the globe. Being highly customisable you can be creative to add vegetables of your choice in it or just have it plain and cheesy.
2. Poached Eggs
A no Fuss recipe, poached eggs is healthy & requires no specific ingredients. Just add an egg in boiling water add salt and pepper and your breakfast is ready. Enjoy it on a perfectly toasted bread slice or on a bed of tossed vegetables and you are good to go.

In a simple recipe which requires eggs to be cooked on a pan with basic seasonings. I love to eat my eggs this way and can enjoy this as an accompaniment with any of the 3 main meals of the day.
In breakfast it is usually with a slice of my seeded toasted sourdough slice topped with some cheese and fresh Microgreens of fenugreek/flax seeds basis the availability.

5. The Cheesy French Toast
This is my customised version of the French toast because my kids love to have the savoury version and not sweetened with honey. So the basic French toast cooked in a. pan and topped with melted cheese and garnished with any greens that are available at home.
6. Egg Wraps
This is a little elaborate recipe with eggs cooked pancake style and then stuffed with chicken, sautéed spinach , some cheese , corn and mushrooms and wrapped. You can also add some lettuce cucumber snacks tomatoes along with ham to alter the taste. My kids love this with a hint of chilli sauce on the side.

This a very tasty and special delicacy I make for my kids. it is made by adding some chicken in a thick sauce of your choice on top of the frozen croissant dough. Add some cheese and seasonings of your choice and bake it. I serve this with some freshly made salad to add colour and nutrition to this weekend meal.
40. Focaccia
Focaccia is a flatbread baked in an oven. It has Italian origins and goes well with a lot of different herbs. I like it with oregano or rosemary and add a lot of garlic, red onions, olives and peppers on the top. My kids love this breakfast. It is easy to make and fun to eat.

This is a fast-food option enjoyed all over the world. But when made at home, I ensure that it is the healthiest version of itself. It is easy to make and has some veggies to it.
I like to experiment with different types of patties from a basic vegetable to potato corn to beetroot vegetable to red beans, I have tried it all. And of course, it has to have some fresh raw vegetables like onions cucumber, lettuce and tomatoes along with a slice of cheese.
42. Bread Rolls
This is a very special breakfast in my house. It is made by making a mixture of potatoes and veggies and spices. It is then wrapped in a wet slice of bread and deep-fried in oil. This results in a crispy on the outside but piping hot potato stuffing in the inside. My whole family loves this and in fact I have some very lovely memories of my childhood attached with this delicacy.
Till date when I visit my parents, my mum makes this once for breakfast. Earlier it was announced as my favourite breakfast but now my daughter has taken over and my mom also because she loves to have these too. Grandparents do have a very sweet relationship with their grandkids. They love to do everything small and big for getting that naughty smile on the kids’ faces.
43. Shakshuka / Frittata
This one-skillet recipe is simple to make and brightens up the faces on my breakfast table. I serve this with homemade bread – sometimes sourdough pita bread n sometimes just plain sourdough loaf. This recipe is very close to frittata which has Italian origin.
However, I have customised the recipe to add in veggies and tomato sauce before pouring in the eggs. So for me, the only difference in Shakshuka and frittata recipes is the seasonings and the eggs being added as whole in shakshuka and whisked in frittata recipe.
44. Fried Bread with Chickpea curry
There is an Indian origin recipe. Fried flatbread commonly known as poori served along with spicy chickpea curry with pickled onion and green chilies on the side. This just tastes divine.
I sometimes also use my fermented all-purpose flour to make these fried flatbreads and take my word for this. This breakfast is sure to satisfy you with its past aroma and wholesomeness so do try it once.
45. Dosa Sambhar & Coconut Chutney
This one again is an Indian origin recipe but f famous all around the globe. Fermented rice and lentils batter when fried on a flat griddle served with spicy aromatic lentil curry and coconut dip is a filling and a little elaborate recipe.
However, the taste and its nutritious wholesomeness just compensated for all the grind you do to dish out these excellent Dosas for your family.
46. The Sourdough Stuffed Buns
Baked buns with difference kinds of fillings and you have a healthy breakfast on the table. I use potato mash , mushroom chicken, leftover meat, spinach corn etc. to name a few fillings in this recipe.
In fact pickled vegetables also go very well in this recipe if you do enjoy the sourness that comes along with these.
